Family Farm Fest
Saturday, August 4
Church of the Holy Nativityís parking lot will be turned into a suburban farm. Family Farm Fest invites families throughout the Western Suburbs to have a meaningful day of family fun while raising money and awareness for Heifer International. Live animals such as a camel, heifers, alpacas, goats, chicks and rabbits are on display. Children and adults are invited to travel to various booths to make a simple craft and learn about the way each animal can change the lives of families in need. Take a break from the animals for delicious food or have fun at the cake walk. Fresh produce will be available for purchase at the organic farmerís market.
Last year Church of the Holy Nativity and over 400 guests who came to Family Farm Fest raised $16,500 for a combined 4 yr total of over $67,000 donated to Heifer International. Mark your calendar for Sat. August 4 from 10 am to 3 pm and help save lives close to home and around the world.
