Our formation programs help children and families learn about the needs of the world and how they can make a difference. Christian formation is a lifelong process of growing in our relationship with God, self, others, and all creation.
All children are welcome in worship, but for those who desire it, there is a room for nursery care from from 9:15 to 11:45am in our lower level (this is not supervised).
Children are invited to join a special time of worship and learning together in this lectionary-based, Montessori-style chapel during the 9:30 a.m. service. Children meet in the lower level of the church during the 9:30 a.m. worship service and join their families in the Nave at the Peace to finish worship with their families.
Godly Play nurture the faith of all elementary school-aged children through art, storytelling and imagination. It is also an engaging and fun way for children to learn the stories of our faith. Classes meet on the lower level during the 10:45am Formation Hour and run from September to Pentecost. Children are divided into three age groups: preschool and kindergarten, 1st thru 3rd grade, and 4th and 5th grades.
