Rachel Snavely

I serve as CHN's Director of Children, Youth & Family Formation. I studied Bible and theology at Wheaton College and received a graduate degree in social work from the Jane Addams School of Social Work at the University of Illinois at Chicago. I have previously worked in publishing, student development/higher education, public K-12 education, and social work, and I love bringing all of that experience together to create a culture of belonging, growth, and connection for our children and youth here at CHN.

I enjoy reading, collecting creative hobbies, traveling with my husband, and spending time with our friends and family, including many nieces and nephews. My husband, Nick, is a firefighter with a wacky schedule, but you'll see him around the church as often as he can make it! At some point you may also meet our ferocious 13-pound pup, Maddie. We're Ohio State fans, but we promise to be civil to fans of the team up north within the walls of CHN.
