Rachel's Story
Rachel Snavely serves as CHN's Director of Children, Youth & Family Formation. She studied Bible and theology at Wheaton College and received a graduate degree in social work from the Jane Addams School of Social Work at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She also holds a Certificate in Youth and Theology from the Institute for Youth Ministry at Princeton Theological Seminary. She previously worked in publishing, student development/higher education, public K-12 education, and social work, and she loves bringing all of that experience together to create a culture of belonging, growth, and connection for our children and youth here at CHN.

Rachel enjoys reading, collecting creative hobbies, traveling, and spending time with friends and family, including many nieces and nephews. Her husband, Nick, is a firefighter with a wacky schedule, but you'll see him around the church as often as he can make it! At some point you may also meet their ferocious 13-pound pup, Maddie. Rachel and Nick are Ohio State fans but promise to be civil to fans of the team up north within the walls of CHN.
